Massage 1936 was established in 2012 by Leanne Brown. A British-qualified physiotherapist with a strong sports background, Leanne left the UK and headed to the Alps to work with skiers and boarders in the beautiful mountain resort of Verbier.
Starting with just 2 employees, Leanne has used her wealth of experience to grow Massage 1936 into Verbier's largest massage company. Offering bespoke treatments, Massage 1936 prides itself on its great team of therapists, knowledge of winter sports and fantastic treatment menu.
Since 2016 we've had our own treatment space in the centre of Verbier, which allows us to offer you the choice to be treated in your chalet, apartment or hotel room, or at our clinic.
Our philosophy, to offer the highest standard of massage to our clients in and around Verbier, is at the core of what we do.
Our professional team of therapists will arrive with all the required equipment so you don't have to lift a finger! A great way to relax and rejuvenate after a busy day on the slopes.
Consistently voted one of the best ski resorts in Europe, Verbier boasts over 400km of ski pistes, world-class off-piste runs, and one of the best aprés ski scenes in the Alps.
Verbier hosts the final of the Freeride World Tour on the Bec des Rosses mountain and the finish line for the Patrouille des Glaciers. Polaris Festival opens the winter season, and the summer season includes a classical music festival, show jumping and the annual Bike Fest. Mountain bikers and hikers can also find trails to suit all levels.
The home of great skiers and celebrities, Verbier is a spectacular resort hosting some of the best ski instructors and mountain guides in the world. The town is not just a great ski hub, it's a mecca for anyone with an interest in mountain life, year round.
